All vehicles are parked within a secure common area inside our storage warehouses.
We do not operate individual lock up garages. We open by appointment only.
For security and peace of mind there is no public access to the storage areas.
We personally manage and Valet park all cars coming in and out of our facilities.
This ensures your vehicle is safest at all times, and no damage can be done by other storage customers getting close to your vehicle.
AutoRanch specialises in medium to long term storage of non-driven or seldom driven vehicles.
We usually do not cater for vehicles requiring regular access. eg: weekend or Sunday drives, etc.

Occasional Access:
For customers who are overseas or interstate and return occasionally during the year we can have
your vehicle available to use while you are visiting. Please give as much notice as possible to allow
us to access your vehicle from the storage area and have it available for you to use.
We open by appointment only, usually Monday to Friday during business hours. Closed Sundays & Public holidays.
Delivery
We will arrange a mutual meeting time when confirming your booking.
Please contact us to make a booking & confirm space availability.
Pick Up:
Pick up of vehicles is by appointment only with a minimum of 7 days notice required.
Towing if needed can be arranged around the Melbourne metro area at competitive rates.
All non-running vehicles must be rolling & steering and tyres must be pumped up and hold air.
Additional fees for tyre repairs or repairs to make vehicles moveable will be charged.
Your vehicle does not have to be registered while in storage. However it may be cheaper to keep registration paid up while you are away.
If it lapses you will need a RWC and possibly other expenses to re register on your return.
We advise you to check with Vic Roads for registration costs and current requirements.
Vehicle Insurance cover is the responsibility of the vehicle owner.
We recommend continuing with your regular car insurance. Most insurance companies will cover your vehicle whilst it's in storage.
Please check your policy and with your insurer. For classic cars, most specialist insurers offer "Laid up" cover at a reduced rate.
All rates quoted include GST. All rates per month are for one standard size vehicle.
Additional fees may apply for larger or longer vehicles, vans etc, or additional motorbike storage. Please enquire.
Payments:
Payment is required in advance at commencement of storage for the selected plan term. Payment must be made either prior or at the time of delivery by cash, or credit card (card fees apply) or via direct deposit to our bank account.
Extending Storage:
Extending the duration of your storage or upgrading your service is easy.
Simply contact us to arrange the next payment instalment for the extra time or service required.
Early Termination:
If you need to end storage earlier than the specified term, then under certain circumstances a partial refund may be given.

Height Limits:
Our access doors are container height so we can accommodate vehicles with very high roof's.
Working on Cars:
For safety & security of other clients vehicles, we do not allow you to work on your car while stored at our facility
Our on site fully equipped workshop with qualified mechanics can carry out any maintenance or repair work required
at reasonable rates. Please enquire.
Items left in vehicles:
Personal items can be left in the boot or back seat of your car or ute tray while in storage providing there is a clear view
out all windows and there is nothing protruding or effecting driving of the vehicle.
No flammable products, paints, fuels etc, or food is to be left in the vehicle while in storage.
We Specialise in Storing Vehicles only and have no provision for additional household items or spare parts.
Your vehicle is stored with us solely at your risk and cost. Subject to any limitations or exclusions forbidden or restricted by statute or at Law, we will not be liable to you or any personfor any acts or omissions (including negligence) of any person nor for any loss, expense, theft or damage whatsoever (including to your vehicle and any contents) and nor for any injury or death arising from any persons activity in this storage facility. You agree to indemnify us in respect of any claim made against us as a consequence of, in relation to, or in any way arising out of your use of this storage facility.
We require your vehicle keys to be left in our possession. We may without notice enter your vehicle, drive or move it within or outside this storage facility, including to allow any additional storage services or otherwise at our discretion as circumstance may necessitate.
You authorise us to release or give access to your vehicle to any person producing at our absolute discretion satisfactory verification of ownership authority or entitlement to possession of your vehicle and you release and will not hold us liable for that access or release.
Your vehicle is accessible by appointment only with a minimum of 7 days notice in writing required prior to collection of your vehicle. If for any reason you require access to your vehicle at short notice, additional access costs and expenses will be payable in full by you before your vehicle is released.
All storage costs or expenses due or related to the storage of your vehicle are payable in full by you in advance. Storage costs and expenses are subject to change without notice. You agree that we have a lien over your vehicle and its contents for all storage costs or expenses due and unpaid under these terms and conditions and are entitled to retain possession of your vehicle and its contents as a security attachment for payment in full of all or any of your storage costs and expenses. When any part of your storage costs or expenses become overdue by more than 28 days from their due date, indoor storage will cease to be provided for your vehicle.
Additional outdoor storage costs will commence from the date your vehicle is stored outdoors.
These terms and conditions apply at all times whilst your vehicle is stored or otherwise in our custody or control and can only be altered by a signed written agreement between you and us. In these conditions the words “we” “us” and “our” mean Auto Ranch, (ABN 34 831 519 421) trading as Auto Ranch Auto Storage, its servants and/or agents. The words “you” “your” and “vehicle” means you as the customer and the vehicle driven by you into the storage facility.
